"Beyond Boundaries" Theme for SC2001
November 1, 2000 ![]() The logo combines several elements that represent Denver and computing. The stylized sun at the top represents "Big Sky"country. If taken to extremes, it could be viewed as a spaceship. Its rays break through the sides of the logo supporting the theme "Beyond Boundaries." The dotted line represents a mile marker symbolizing Denver, the Mile-High City. The bar beneath the dotted line containing ones and zeroes represent binary coding. And finally, the lower section contains mountains with white dots representing snow or stars. Next year's SC2001 conference will be held Nov. 12-15, 2001, in Denver, Colorado. ![]() |
